Tim Sampson was raised in Memphis, Tennessee; Charlotte, North Carolina; and New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been an insomniac since the age of three, when he lay in bed unable to sleep because he was consumed with trying to figure out how there could be such a thing as infinity. He began chain-smoking at the age of 14 because he was a nervous teenager, and continues to do so today because he is a nervous grown-up teenager. His life revolves around his cat, Jeff, and he loves bad Joan Crawford movies. If you see him in public, leave him alone.
This collection of some of Tim's favorite columns was first published in 1995. This is a first edition, meaning it's not been updated. Kitsch value, people! Buy enough of these and we might just get Tim to do a new book.
